The Nampa Schools Foundation has awarded $17,250 in scholarships to 11 Nampa School District graduating seniors. The Vern Carpenter Scholarship, created earlier this year, is awarded to a student attending Northwest Nazarene University. Debanhi Aguirre-Jimenez is the first-time winner.

Those selected to receive 2018 NSF scholarships totaling $17,250 are:

Wilbur and Ileene Sisson Memorial Scholarship - Engineering ($2,000)

Nampa Schools Foundation Achievement Scholarships ($1,000)
Adan Eledesma, Nampa High School
Raven Moore, Skyview High School
Masen Medl, Skyview High School

James and Charlotte Schiller Memorial Scholarship, University of Idaho ($1,000)
Danielle Zamora, Skyview High School

Vern Carpenter Memorial Scholarship, Northwest Nazarene University ($1,000)

The mission of the Nampa Schools Foundation is to engender patron support and general financial resources that will enrich the quality of education, expand learning opportunities for students and teachers, and bring the community together in support of the Nampa School District.
