Clay Long, assistant director of Career and Technical Education for the Nampa School District, has been inducted into the Business Professionals of America Hall of Fame. This award is given annually to recognize an individual who has made significant contributions to BPA at the local, state and national levels for at least 10 years.

Clay first joined BPA as a high school student in Genesee, Idaho. Since then he has served as a national officer on the Board of Trustees (including as chair), and as a contributing member of the National Alumni Association.

According to the Idaho State Association, Clay’s “ability to challenge the status quo while honoring tradition with a sense of what are some of his greatest attributes … serves him well as he has worked to effectively promote and support BPA through the years. Clay selflessly gives of his time and energy to encourage and promote Business Professionals of America at all levels – regional, state and national.”
