Nampa PREP student Sarah Triolo is this year’s Miss Amazing Idaho 2019 Jr. Miss Representative! She will travel to Chicago in August to represent Idaho in the national pageant. This amazing young woman has attended Nampa schools since starting at the developmental preschool. Her pageant mentor was PREP teacher Jennifer Randolph.
Nampa PREP is a program that helps students with disabilities learn the life and social skills needed to navigate adulthood. They learn skills such as budgeting, the importance of eye contact, and how to interact with others. They also run various businesses – car detailing, making and selling dog treats, salsa, quilts, and more. The program supports itself through these and other activities.
