Six graduating students from NSD high schools were each awarded a $3,000 scholarship from the Nampa Golf Commission. Funds are raised through the annual Mayor's Golf Tournament, thanks to 33 hole sponsors and 33 participating teams. The event also supports summer youth golf programs in Nampa and the Mayor's Teen Council.

In its 20 years of existence, the tournament has raised more than $215,000 for scholarships and youth programs.
