The Nampa School District Board of Trustees voted at a special meeting on Nov. 28, 2022, to run a $210.2 million school bond on March 14 to address and improve educational outcomes for students.

The bond will focus on the following:

  • Imbalance in the utilization of facilities and programs
  • Aging facilities
  • Major maintenance needs
  • A desire to improve access to special education, preschool, fine arts and athletics programs

If voters approve the bond, which requires a 2/3 majority, funds will be used for the following projects.

This bond would replace what patrons have been paying on the district's existing bonds, which currently is $60 per $100,000 of net taxable property value.  That's a difference of $25 a year per $100,000 of net taxable property value.
